    I just bought three new glass Garage Doors, along with the tracks, the motors, and the remotes. John, the owner of Cal Western Overhead Doors was incredible! He shows up on time, works very hard, and out of the three quotes that I received, was by far the least expensive. I compared apples to apples, with the quotes, and I was shocked to see how much better his pricing was. I have already recommended him to other people, not just because of his pricing, but because of his service. He also told me that he will come back in a month and adjust the doors, which is included in the purchase. That type of service is rare!

    Several years ago John replaced an old garage door at our house and was willing to work around the other construction we had going on at the time (I made things complicated for him) and he recently came back and installed a new opener. He is a super nice guy, responded quickly, and his work is top-notch. In both cases I was shocked by the bill--super affordable!

    "Just bought a home, the garage door was rusty and insulation falling apart. The garage opener was antique Sears with only 1 remote to share between my wife and I. So I call Cal-Western and John was there to save the day. He was no less than great from start to finish. Provided me with a super fair quote for a new door AND a new opener during his free estimate visit, so much so, I said let's proceed right then and there. 2 weeks later he gives me a shout saying the door I chose was in and if I was available for a next day install. Heck yeah! Install was quick, area was clean post work and my wife and I each can open the garage without sharing. John and Cal-Western is now a permanent fixture in my contacts for garage related needs and to refer when friends and family ask for a recommendation on a garage door guy!     My garage door was not closing all of the time. It seemed like it was occasionally getting stuck. I called John and he retighten the springs and fixed some of the track, but told me that it was the opener that was the issue and not the springs. The door worked fine for the next two days and the same issue came back. I called John and said "when can you install another opener". John installed the opener. A month later and the door is working like a charm. John is very professional, works efficiently and his pricing is very fair. I strongly recommend his services. Thank you John.

    Our 60 year old garage door had a broken hinge and needed to be replaced. We solicited four bids for the project. Cal-Western, and John, impressed us with no-nonsense and a very fair bid. A week later our new door and opener were installed. John was thorough, efficient, honest, and cleared away all old material (even the sawdust!).
